New clarification added: 8. Kindly state the definition of CERs Gold Standard.Gold standard is a standard and logo certification mark program for non-governmental emission reductions projects. It is published and administered by the Gold Standard Foundation, a non-profit foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It was designed with an intent to ensure that carbon credits are real and verifiable and that projects make measurable contributions to sustainable development. Its objective is to add branding, with a quality label, to Carbon Credits generated by projects which can then be bought and traded by countries that have a binding legal commitment according to the Kyoto Protocol, businesses or other organizations for carbon offsetting purposes. Do municipal solid waste (methane emission avoidance) projects qualify for CERs Gold Standard?Any project proposed have to fulfill the list of criteria given to be compliant.10. We have a CERs inventory from monitoring period 1 Jan 2016 - 21 Jun 2016. Would it qualify for the bid? Yes as long as the CERs proposed are not older than 2016.

New clarification added: 6-kindly specify to us what is required in the form 'Performance Statement Form'In the Performance Statement Form (Form C), you are requested to indicate examples of previous orders to your company for similar/same goods. This also serves as references.7-also, we wish to know is a bid security is required for this bid and if yes, what is its value.No bid security is required.

New clarification added: 5. Can you please clarify if credits from vintages older than 2016 (CP2) will be accepted as they are retired in batches which can sometimes mean we cannot pick a specific vintage?No, the ITB "Credits should be generated not earlier than 2016 and issued at the time of receipt of the purchase order latest."

New clarification added: 1. By which date is the delivery of credits is expected?Credits offered must be ready to be cancelled and retired from circulation within 1 week from the date of signing the contract, as instructed in the tender criteria. The contract is expected to be placed latest by the 22 July 2019 as mentioned in the section "Particulars".2. Which projects have been selected by UNOPS in the past? From which providers? At which price per certificate?UNOPS will consider any project offered according to the criteria list given for compliancy. We cannot give details of past offers as they are confidential. Contracts with total prices are published in UNGM.3. Are there preferences regarding the technology or geography of projects?The evaluation will be done according to the list of criteria given. Any project compliant with these criteria will be accepted.4. Is there a maximum price level per credit or a maximum total amount to be paid for the contract? How is the price criterionr rated compared to quality criteria?We do not have a maximum price. However, UNOPS will award to the lowest priced substantially compliant offer as mentioned in the section "Particulars".
