The Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement (ASR) provides an overview of the procurement of the United Nations system in support of its operations, projects and programmes. The first reporting on United Nations procurement activities prepared by the UNDP, was presented to the 39th session of the General Assembly in 1984. Later that year, the General Assembly requested continued reporting on procurement activities undertaken by UN organizations. Since 2008, UNOPS has been compiling the report.
