Description of the seminar According to the available statistical data, the Czech Republic only ranks in the 130th place out of all UN supplying countries. Similarly, the co-hosting countries Hungary and Slovakia rank 136th and 141rd respectively. Considering that all of these countries can offer a great number of manufacturers of high-quality innovative products with experience of supplying worldwide, these rankings have a significant improvement potential. The main objective of the seminar is to provide an opportunity to engage with UN agencies and increase the insight of UN procurement practices and objectives. We would also like to enable the Central European companies to present their products, services and innovations which would benefit the operations of UN agencies. The seminar will be held in a hybrid format as to allow the agencies to participate both personally and virtually.
