New clarification added: 3. The picture in the amended document “Body armor visual idea” is just the visual idea for the illustration purpose only to provide a general idea of the body armor, yet the bidder must refer to the specifications as described in the schedule of requirements which shall prevail in the technical evaluation process and the offered products must meet these technical specifications to be considered compliant. 

New clarification added: Original Certificates required for every lot to be attached with the submission via e-sourcing if possible, can be provided the latest with the samples of goods. However, Bidders must confirm that they will submit original certificates with the samples of goods in the Form I, Section III Returnable bidding forms. Bidders that fail to provide certificates with the samples of the goods will be disqualified.The scanned copy of the original bid security should be submitted with the tender documents via e-sourcing system before the deadline together with the original copy via courier, additionally the bidders are allowed to provide original bid security with the samples of the goods latest. Bidders that fail to provide a scanned copy of bid security attached to their bid on e-sourcing and/or fail to submit original bid security latest with the samples of the goods will be disqualified.

New clarification added: Do we need to submit a sample ? if yes will it be possible later after being eligible for award and technically acceptable ?After the completion of the technical evaluation of the bids, the samples of offered products will be requested from the compliant bidders who pass the technical evaluation stage  per lot for verification. Bidders should deliver the samples to UNOPS office in Kyiv (10 Lypska Str., 01021, Kyiv, Ukraine) within maximum 10 calendar days of recieving the written request from UNOPS. After the verification of the sample and confirm compliance, only those pass will move to the financial evaluation. The bidder that will propose the lowest price and substantially compliant offer will be recommended for award 

New clarification added: Dears at UNOPS,From our experience, for the items in LOT 6 it is highly recommended that the both items or at minimum the upper body wear (the shirt) will be "stab-proof" or "cut-resistant". It has saved many law-enforcement men in many countries!Thank you for clarification. Dear BidderThank you for your comment and suggestion. The Schedule of requirements for LOT 6 will not be subjected to changes for this ITB. 

New clarification added: Good day..Can we submit a partial bid ?As stated in the Particulars Tab (Partial Bids): Bidders shall be allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in the document titled Section II: Schedule of Requirements. However, bidders must offer 100% of the items specified for each lot and to 100% of the quantities specified for each item of a lot. Evaluation will be done per lot.

New clarification added: Dear Sirs,What is the validity of the BANK GUARANTEE, it is mentioned only the amount which is 5000 USD?BRPlease refer to the attached document Section I instructions to bidders - 18. Bid security. It provides that "valid for thirty (30) days beyond the period of bid validity" prescribed by UNOPS pursuant to Article 12, Bid Validity Period. Any unsecured bid may be rejected by UNOPS.It means that bid security validity period should be 120 days after the deadline for submissions.

New clarification added: It looks that the body armor you are asking for is a riot body armor as we did not see anywhere that you are asking for a bullet proof body armore,please confirm.In form H we cannot see any address of UNOPS where we need to send the bid bond , so please provide an address where we need to send the bid bond .1. This is not bullet proof body armour (please refer to Section II Schedule of requirements.2. The copy of Bid Security form should be also attached to your submission here in e-sourcing system.
