New clarification added: Dear Bidder Q1 In LOT-1. Are only submersible pumps required or complete with submersible motors? Because it was mentioned (LOT-1 - Supply, Delivery, and Test New Water Submersible deep-well Pump-motor complete Units With All Accessories .... etc.). While in Returnable Bidding Forms - Form C: Technical Quotation Form - Technical specifications for goods – Comparative Data Table no technical information about submersible motors was requested. Please clarify.Ans 1 - Please note that the requirements have been classified into lots. The requirement for Lot 1 is exclusively submersible pumps, while the requirement for Lot 2 pertains to submersible motors only.Q2 - In Lot 3, file LOT 3 - RFQ_Section_II, technical specifications section, tables titled: B. SUBMERSIBLE Water level Sensor & C. PRESSURE SWITCHES, they are not mentioned in the BOQ. Can you confirm whether they are required from us or are they placed by mistake?Ans 2 - Please note these items have been incorpoarted another LOT therefore you are kindly only requested to quote for the items in Form B: Price Schedule Form - LOT 3 - RFQ_Section_III and also the items in the BoQ.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders Q1 - With reference to the subject Tender, we would like to clarify if international bidders are eligible to particiapte in the tender. We are a UAE based compnay and do not have valid business registration and Tax ID to operate in Yemen. As an international vendor we have done many projects for various UN missions for supply and delivery of Pumps and accessories.In view of the above please advise if we can particiapte and quote for this project without registration or JV in Yemen. Ans 1 - Please refer to Particulares - Bidder eligibility '' No nationalities are excluded from submitting a bid. However In the case of international bidders, the bidder shall have agreement or cooperation with a local company registered in Yemen as a partner or local office legally registered to operate in Yemen.'' and also criteira '' The bidder should have a valid business registration and Tax ID to operate in Yemen. In case of Joint Venture (JV), at least one of the joint venture members must meet it'' Q2 - We look forward to your update on the below clarification request. Your swift reply will be appreciated. Ans 2 - Please refer to the above answer. Q3 - We are an international submersible pump manufacturer and wish to submit a quotation for this RFQ. Could you kindly provide us with the following information? 1. Is it mandatory to go through a local partner for the delivery? If yes, should the partner submit the quotation or can we keep this responsibility? For reference, we have already delivered to Yemen without going through a partner. 2. Could you provide us with the precise delivery addresses?Ans 3 - 3.1 - please refer to answer no. 001 Ans 3. 3.2 - The delivery is to Taiz Water and Sanitation Local Corporations Warehouses – TAIZ CITY, Yemen.Q4- We would like to kindly ask if you could extend the deadline, allowing us to provide you with the best prices and the most accurate technical specifications. Dear UNOPS, Ans 4 - Amendment for tender with extension will be shared soon . Q5 - Please kindly extend the bid as the time is not enough for preparing the tender according to your requirements.
