New clarification added: Hello,The document SECTION II: SCHEDULE OF REQUIREMENTSRFQ/2024/55206 - PROVISION OF ICT CONSUL TING SERVICESstates the following:2 x ICT Innovation Support: one is responsible for designing and improving the user interface and experience of software products. This includes conducting user research, creatingwireframes, designing user interfaces, conducting usability testing, providing interactive prototypes for early validations. The other is responsible for developing front-end and back-end components of digital products. This includes writing code, integrating APIs, working with databases, and ensuring the performance and scalability of applications. By the sound of it, design and development work seem to be more or less equal in size, which is rarely so. My question is whether it is intended to have one person working on UI/UX while the other should be a full-stack developer? If so, what is the reason? Would it make more sense to have a dedicated UI/UX designer and front-end and back-end developers with the same number of hours dedicated to the work? For instance, instead of 40h/week of UI/UX and 40h/week of UI/UX of full-stack, it may make more sense to have 20h/week of UI/UX, 40h/week of frontend and 40h/week of backend. That will achieve two things: 1) the job will be done faster 2) having a dedicated frontend and backend, the work conducted will likely have higher quality + the work can be done in parallel.Answer,Thank you for the question, while your observations are valid regarding the benefits of different team composition, different and part-time resources could increase the coordination effort to ensure team members are available at same time and their work is done in a manner that does not generate blocks or idle time to wait for the other end to complete the tasks.Regares,UNOPS-Procurement

New clarification added: Hello,Vendor submission form question. The financial offer section asks for the unit price, currency, and description. Form B: Price Schedule Form - mentions unit prices in the context of hourly rates. Do I understand correctly that the financial offer section's unit price field is intended to be an hourly rate?Answer,Yes, your understanding is correct. UNOPS requests the hourly rate in USD. We anticipate a maximum of 176 hours per month for each personnel; however, the project team may utilize fewer hours each month. Your quote should include the following information: 1. The hourly rate. 2. The total monthly cost for three personnel (3 personnel x 176 hours per month). 3. The total cost for three months for all personnel (3 personnel x 176 hours per month x 3 months). Regares,UNOPS-Procurement
