Quantities are undefined. UNOPS will not be committed to purchase any minimum quantity, and purchases will be made only if and when there is an actual requirement.

New clarification added: Question: Lots #6: 40 ft standard maritime shipping container, high cube size (approximately 12 m L x 2.5 m W x 3 m H, ISO 45G1 or equivalent, CSC certified and ISO 6346 compliant). Can High Cube Containers be used for other Lots if required. Lot #4: Specifies the use of a 20ft container. Lot 4 also includes a DG Set and 120kWh of BESS. May we use a 40Ft container for Lot #4.Answer: No. should supply as per the requested container sizes in the Annex - Technical specification Question: 2Lots #1- #6: (Installation). The system must be plug and play. Inverter, charge controller, battery package, battery charger must be pre-installed and wired inside the container in order to easily connect the PV array and the local installation. All cables for establishing the PV array must be readily available with pre-installed connections and clearly marked in a way that no mistakes can occur. It shall be designed to be reversible, to facilitate rapid disassembling and re-packaging without damaging the parts of the products itself. All tools/ equipment must be simple to use, of highest quality and meet international standards. Indian Authorities do not permit containerised shipment of Batteries (Including LiFePo4) along with other components. Is it acceptable to ship batteries separately and have batteries integrated into the plug and play container by the supplier or representative in the destination country.Answer : If such a regulation exists in the country, the bidder should make the necessary arrangements to collect all the items at the same time. The cargo will then be shipped in two separate shipments, ensuring compliance with the regulation.Question: Section II: Schedule of Requiremenrts, Para C states “Asia & Middle East Region - After sales service in minimum 6 countries.” .is the requirement a minimum of 6 countries in each region, or 6 countries spread across Asia and Middle East Region. Is the Asia Pacific region to be considered as “Asia” Answer: The requirement refers to a minimum of six countries spread across the Asia and Middle East Region. The Asia Pacific region is not considered part of "Asia" for this requirement.· ·

New clarification added: Question: How many microgrids are expected to be connected? May I ask whether the connection of several sets of micro grid is only the AC output terminal connected to the distribution cabinet at the same time? Or the inverters and batteries between the microgrids need to be connected? Answer: The number of microgrids to be connected depends on the scope of the client's requirements, and no specific requirements are available. For safty reason, higher voltage can lower current, suggest to have higher voltage.Answer: Yes, an open circuit DC voltage exceeding 230VDC is acceptable.Question: "Regarding the generators, when you refer to 'on-demand' start and automatic start in case of a power supply failure, could you please clarify what you mean by 'on-demand'? Does it imply a manual start?"Answer: When referring to 'on-demand' start, it does not imply a manual start. Instead, it means that the generator starts automatically based on predefined conditions, such as a low state of charge in the batteries or high system load beyond the capacity of the solar PV system. This ensures seamless operation without requiring manual intervention.Question: What do you mean by 'vibration preventing measures included'? Our generators are equipped with shock absorbers/anti-vibration pads between the frame and the engine, as well as the alternator. Additionally, we use a compensator between the engine and the silencer. Would this be sufficient?"Answer: Yes, this is acceptable. Alternative proposals will also be considered.Question: With the 'monitoring system,' we have the RS485 serial port as standard on the Comap IL4AMF25 controller. Is that sufficient?Answer: The inclusion of the RS485 serial port as standard on the ComAp IL4AMF25 controller is sufficient for basic monitoring and communication. Bus-bars provide a more efficient and stable means of distributing power across phases, reducing the potential for voltage drops or excessive wear on components. This can be easily achieved by using a 3-phase distribution board (DB). Would Chinese or English be sufficient, or are additional languages required?Answer: It is mandatory to provide the user manuals, and instruction manuals in English/French and Spanish. installation videos should in English with French and Arabic subtitles Question: For a 100kWp Extended Mini-Grid, since we need to consider placing the 200KVA diesel generator and fuel tank in a container, do we consider placing the diesel generator separately in a 20-foot container, and placing the photovoltaic panels, inverters, batteries and other equipment in another 40-foot container?Answer: The shipment arrangement is up to the manufacturer. In UN Web Buy, when an end user will place a PO for a solar mini-grid, the shipment details entered by the supplier will be shared with our Freight Forwarders, who will calculate the freight rates depending on the specified number of containers.In the technical requirements, the system needs to fit in one container at destination. This can differ from the shipment arrangement.

Is itacceptable to consider higher voltages for inverters in the range of 10kW to 100kW?Answer: Yes, an open circuit DC voltage exceeding 230VDC is acceptable.Question: In the technical specifications document (Annex 1), concerning the battery package, the required operational voltage range per module is 25-55VDC(nominal customizable). Is it accepted to connect battery modules in series to achieve higher voltages usually needed by inverters over 10kVA?Answer: Based on your proposed system configuration, this can be achieved through either parallel or series connections, depending on the desired output and system requirements.Question: is it accepted to connect inverters in parallel in order to obtain the required output AC power?Answer : Based on your proposed system configuration, this can be achieved through either parallel or series connections, depending on the desired output and system requirements.Question: In the technical specifications document (Annex 1), the minimum inverter capacity (Amp) must be equivalent to maximum load. You are required to propose a design based on the components you supply.Question: Project implementation requires the application for the Advance Payment. According to the relevant content of ‘35. PAYMENT TERMS’ in the ITB, we need the designated Forms by UNOPS. Please provide the relevant forms.Answer: Advance payment is not allowed, as specified under the Particulars tab of this tender.Question: For the usage of the Compact Mini-Grids and the Extended Mini-Grid, please reply whether the generator does not need to charge the battery when in use.Answer: The generator should charge the battery, with the timing and the percentage of charge determined by the settings configured on the hybrid inverter.Question: Currently, some excellent inverters support management and remote monitoring through mobile phone APPs without ‘Minimum Switches: LCD Configuration’. Please clarify the point-in-time of receipt of the goods/services. Due to FCA Incoterms, should it means submission of FCR ?Answer :Yes, the submission of the Forwarder's Cargo Receipt (FCR), invoice, packing list, and any other documents related to customs clearance at the destination is requiredQuestion : . In Annex 2_Form C-Financial Bid Form, "Additional PV panels array ”, are the additional PV panels just in package as spare part or need to be pre-assembled and installed in the rapid deployment system like the initial system's PV panels" ?Answer: These are a package of spares to be stored for future use in case of breakages.Question. In Annex I_ Technical Specifications and Compliance Sheet, COMPACT MINI-GRID of 30/50/100kWp requires "mounting points on top of the container to provide shade and space efficiency."Because the number of PV panels that can be installed on the top of the container is relatively small compared with the number of PV panels that need to be installed (only 5 can be installed on the top of a 20 foot container, and only 10 can be installed on the top of a 40 foot container), but it will increase a lot of installation workload on site and it is not conducive to rapid deployment. Can we ignore this request?Answer: The mounting or anchor points must be provided to facilitate the rapid installation of PV mounting structures on top of the containers. These points can be pre-welded off-site, allowing the mounting structures and panels to be assembled on-site efficiently.Question: In Annex 2_Form C-Financial Bid Form, please clarify the difference between "Commissioning development and report as per the mentioned commissioning program ( Per Unit)" and "Deploy of expert Mini Grid Operator (Per Unit) " .Answer: The differences in these requirements are clearly outlined in Annex 1: Technical Specifications and Compliance Sheet under the Mandatory Options. It is mandatory to quote prices for all the items listed in the price form under the mandatory options.
