The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite competent Bidders/Contractors to submit their respective competitive bids for EPSS warehouse floor epoxy coating work in Addis Ababa & Negele Borena town of Oromia region, Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the Technical Specification/“Scope of the Works (SoW)” herein uploaded under “Document” TAB

Does it mean for the past 3 years the company should complete three projects above 40 million that have Epoxy in it? or (B). Does it mean that all three projects completed by the company must include above 40 million Epoxy work ? or (C). Does it mean that a company should complete three projects above 40 million that have similar features with epoxy works ?Answer 1: :"Bidders are required to complete three projects. New clarification added: Dear Mr. Amare Moges,Thanks for your request of clarification & please find below the Evaluation Panel response.Question 1 : On ITB 05 Section VI - Returnable Schedules Section 0.9, DRiVE Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire , We Requested to fill the Driven form, Sign, Stamp and Upload the Scan Copy to Document Checklist. But when we use the link to download the document we get Self-Assessment Questionnaire on CSR/ Sustainability for Automotive Sector Suppliers, Could you please attach Questionnaire for construction or use the downloaded document .Answer 1: The relevant DRiVE Forms are integrated into eSourcing, during the solicitation phase by selecting one of the DRiVE Forms languages If you have filled out the form on esourcing, it is adequet & no other action required. Practical guide, this means:The DRiVE Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire is included in the tender process as a mandatory e-form.The vendor completes the Questionnaire and submits responses on its bid.The evaluation team checks and verifies if responses to the questionnaires are submitted by all bidders in the Evaluation report tab by downloading DRiVE forms’ responses to the G.Sheet.UNOPS ETMCO Evalaution Team

New clarification added: Dear Mr. Clibe Joshva,Thanks for your request of clarification & please find below the Evaluation Panel response.Question 1 : As per your BOQ for I would like to clarify that epoxy resin, while renowned for its strong adhesive qualities and durability, does not inherently possess "waterproofing or anti-static" properties. Epoxy itself is not designed to prevent water penetration or resist static electricity. To achieve waterproofing and anti static the properties are very different and will not get the same results from Epoxy Material. So please clarify that how you are trying to get the results from Epoxy Flooring.Answer 1: UNOPS has set the minimum requirements and expects the bidder to apply all necessary procedures to meet or exceed these standards. The bidder’s offer/price should also include all costs related to any additives or work methodologies required to meet these requirements. We understand that a mandatory requirement for bidding is to demonstrate experience on three projects; each valued at least Birr 40,000,000. We understand that this requirement is intended to ensure that bidders possess the necessary expertise and resources for a project of this scale.While our company individually may not meet this exact requirement, we are proposing a joint venture partnership. Together, we can cumulatively demonstrate our combined experience encompasses more than three projects below and above Birr 40,000,000 for each individual project, with a total value exceeding Birr 100,000,000.We believe that our combined expertise and experience, along with our strong proven track record on similar projects (especially our second member is specialized on Epoxy flooring works); make us a strong candidate to undertake a project of this magnitude. We are confident that we can successfully deliver the project to your specifications and exceed your expectations.Hence, we kindly request you to clarify and confirm us if our above cumulative joint venture experience can comply and prepare our technical proposal accordingly.Answer 2: Bidders are allowed to compute for this ITB as a joint venture. New clarification added: Dear Mr. Amare Moges,Thanks for your request of clarification & please find below the Evaluation Panel response.Question 1 : On Bill of quantity NEGELE BORENA miscellaneous Section safety line painting for traffic Approximate floor area is A =10,000.00m2,which is greater than Epoxy Floor area (1447.88m2) is the quantity is correct.Answer 1: For Item 2.1, there is a misplacement error; the quantity 10,000 m2 is for Addis Ababa Warehouse and 1450 m2 is for Negele Borena Warehouse.
