New amendment added #3: With reference to the ITB #ITB/2024/52723 , the following modification to the ITB Document was made through Amendment III.The deadline for submission of quotation and clarification was extended to 2024-08-12 (05:30 UTC) and 2024-08-09 (05:30 UTC) respectively.All other terms and conditions of the bid document remain unaltered.

New clarification added: Bidder Query: We have noted that the technical requirements for Otoscope Lot 3 specify the magnification required is 13x. However, our manufacturer has informed us that the maximum magnification for this equipment is only 3 to 4x.Could you please provide clarification on this matter?UNOPS response: The (required) manginification of the Lot 3 _ Otoscope is (3 X). New clarification added: Bidder query: Are suppliers expected to deliver items to every hospital in all 12 regions within 30days of purchase order? This doesn't leave much time for manufacture and shipping. Is it possible to suggest items delivered to central WHO / UN / UNICEF etc warehouse in Philippines or nearby?UNOPS response: Kindly note that the responsibility of delivering the items as mentioned in the schedule of requirements at the final destination lies with the bidder (supplier). The goods shall be delivered and completed commissioning of the equipment and its accessories to the final destination(s) within (30) days from the date of issuance of "PO" after the satisfactory inspection by DoH / UNOPS at the warehouse of the supplier. kindly submit your valuable offer as detailed in the tender documents

New clarification added: Bidder query: Can you clarify the import tax and duty payment requirements. In one part of the bidding documents it states that the bidder is responsible for all taxes and duties but in the 'Instructions to Bidders' document under section 17. Duties & Taxes, it stats that UNOPS are exempt from all duties and taxes. Please can you clarify which is correct.UNOPS response: All quotations shall be submitted inclusive of applicable local taxes and duties (if any)
