New clarification added: Dear UNOPS Team.1. Please clarify whether the total price of the offer for all lots includes the cost of putting the equipment (pumps and control cabinets with frequency converters) into operation by service specialists authorized by the manufacturer to preserve the manufacturer's warranty obligations, since the equipment is industrial and requires the presence of qualified specialists?2. Please clarify what information needs to be filled in Form B "Delivery Details FCA Point(s) of delivery of the proposed products" as UNOPS provides for delivery to destination (DAP), including additional provisions for unloading goods at the specified location and responsibility for customs procedures design.3. In Lot 1.2 Valves in clause 1.2 PN 16 is indicated, and in clauses 2.2, 3.2 the maximum conditional pressure is indicated - 16MPa. Please make changes because the ratio of pressure measurement units is 10 bar=1 MPa, PN 16 bar =1.6 MPa. Dear UNOPS Team.1. New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam,Could you please clarify the following;1. Can we use IE3 water pump motors instead of IE4, and IE2 sewage pump motors instead of IE3? In Ukraine, there are no specific requirements mandating the use of only IE3 or IE4 motors. Using IE3 or IE2 motors would be more cost-effective.2. The temperature of the pumped liquid for water pumps is not always specified. Could you please provide the required temperature for each item listed in your request?3. What is the required degree of protection for the sewage pumps? Should it be IP68 or IP55?4. Who will the End User be? This information will help us better understand the application of the pumps and tailor our solutions to meet the client's needs./Dear Bidder,Thank you for your ineterst in the tender. Please find below the clarofocation on your questions:1) Motor Efficiency Class: While it's correct that Ukraine does not mandate specific motor efficiency classes such as IE3 or IE4, our RFQ specifies these classes to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability in line with international best practices. However, we are open to considering the possibility of using IE3 motors for water pumps and IE2 motors for sewage pumps if they meet all other operational requirements and provide significant cost benefits without compromising overall system efficiency. Please specify in the "details" box which type you are considering for the bid.2) Temperature of Pumped Liquid: For the specific temperature requirements of the pumped liquids for each pump type in the RFQ:The required temperature range for the pumped liquid typically varies depending on the application. However, we can subdivide them into two groups: a) Water Pumps: The standard operational range for these applications is from 0°C to 50°C. This range accommodates most ambient water and processing temperatures encountered in municipal and industrial settings.b) Sewage Pumps: These are generally required to be able to handle liquids from 0°C to 80°C, while the operational range can be smaller. If your systems require handling temperatures with a more restricted range, please specify the conditions in the Detail Box so we can ensure the selected pump configurations are still acceptable for the requirements.3) Degree of Protection for Sewage Pumps: The optimum degree of protection for sewage pumps is IP68 in our RFQ to ensure high resistance against submersion, particularly in demanding environments where the risk of water ingress is significant. However, IP55 may provide sufficient protection for the intended application environment while being more cost-effective; we may consider this specification upon further review. Please specify in the "details" box if you are proposing IP55 in the bid.4) End User Information: The end users of these pumps are primarily municipal water and sewage treatment facilities. Knowing the specific application environment should help you ensure that your proposal aligns perfectly with the operational and environmental challenges expected at these facilities.Thank you.Procurement team.
