New clarification added: LOT 1- The vest you have described in Lot 1 to us sounds like you would also require soft armour panels to provide the modular protection stated in the document. This would then have the standalone hard armour plates in front for the vest reach NIJ level IV (0101.06).The soft armour would provide wrap around protection ballistic and fragmentation protection and the NIJ Level IV plate would provide additional ballistic protection at a higher level front and back.LOT 3 - Plate carriers- Soft armour would usually be in the modular, neck/throat and shoulder attachments. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________LOT 1 - Yes, the modular vest should include collar for neck protection, detachable; protection of the lower abdomen, detachable. Protection level - NIJ level IV (0101.06) or higherLOT 3 - The plate carrier of the vest has the feature of connecting a collar for a detachable neck protection module and a detachable module for protection of the lower abdomen. Protection for neck, and shoulders, detachable - any protection level.Thank you.Best regards.

New clarification added: It is difficult for us to give a competitive DAP unit price if we do not know what the order sizes will be, as the transport costs significantly decrease per unit with larger orders. Could we perhaps give unit prices within certain quantity brackets, say one price for 1-10, another for 20-50, and another for 50+ per order? There are no plates listed under the specifications of the plate carriers, but we assume that you would require these to be included as well, as the plate carrier has no soft armour protection?Would a warranty of five (5) years on the ballistic materials and six (6) months on the other materials be acceptable?Lot 1 requests a low profile vest, but with all of the required accessories this will be a high profile vest.Lot 1 requires soft armour on the vests, but then asks for standalone plates to be included instead of ICW plates. Standalone plates are not normally used in conjunction with soft armour. The lead time will depend on the quantities ordered. Would we be able to give lead times for certain brackets of quantities (see point 1 above)?Lot 3 requires shoulder and collar protection, but this is not possible on a plate carrier as no soft armour is included._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________1. UNOPS acknowledges the logistical/delivery costs for low order quantities. At the same time, considering the below question 18 and respective answer, bidders are requested to quote DAP Kyiv prices for quantity ranges (1-10, 11-30, etc.) of items, as UNOPS cannot commit to ordering specific quantities (subject to operational needs).2. The plate carrier should be compatible with plate inserts that comply with standard NIJ - 0101.06 (threat level 4 (IV))3. Please see the requirements for each lot in the Revised Section II: Schedule of Requirements.4. Yes, the vest should be low profile with the following modules: collar for neck protection, detachable; protection of the lower abdomen, detachable. 5. Main plate should provide a level of protection NIJ IV or higher. Collar, shoulders etc (if supplied) can be made of kevlar.6. In connection with respective changes to Returnable Bid Schedules, bidders are required to provide quotations for quantity ranges and respective lead times for those.
