New clarification added: In the requirements for experience for the Team Lead, there is need for cabon markets, emission trading, carbon pricing instruments, and GHG emission accounting. The scope of work is focus on renewable energy certification, REC trading, and voluntary renewable energy market. Please kindly clarify the rationale to focus on carbon aspects rather than renewable energy experience for the team lead. We would appreciate your clarification to better align the team lead's expertise to the scope required. Thank you. Answer: The TOR requested for: A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in similar projects/assignments (renewable energy certificate markets, carbon markets, emission trading, carbon pricing instruments, GHG emission accounting, clean development mechanism, environmental or social attributes and their tracking systems) - the list in parentheses are considered as similar assignments and not hard requirements. The candidate may have experience in any of these, including RECs, to widen the range of potential candidates.

New clarification added: a) Can you please clarify that in case of consortium, can the financial stability requirement and annual turnover requirement be met by lead partner in consortium?Answer: UNOPS can accept If one of the JV members can fulfill the financial capacity requirement.b) Form F: Performance Statement Form, Can we include ongoing projects as well in addition to completed projects?Answer: Bidders can include the ongoing projects in the Form F.c) For Economists/Market Specialists, Can you clarify if Masters in Engineering (Chemical) is acceptable for this position?Answer: The education background and the expert's experience will be scored accordingly.

New clarification added: 1) Requesting you to consider extension for proposal submission deadline.Answer: The deadline is to be extended until 24 May2) Form E: Resume – It is mentioned to provide experience in the last five years. Can you please clarify if all experiences after 1st January 2019 can be mentioned in the resume?Answer: The 5 years experience is counted from the submission deadline and then goes back 5 years.3) Form F: It is mentioned that past performance in similar services in the last 3 years (2021, 2022 & 2023) are to be presented. Can you clarify that project experiences from 1st January 2021 that can be mentioned for the same? Can you further clarify whether project experience in the current year of 2024 is to be mentioned or not?Answer: The past 3 years experience is counted from the submission deadline and count back 3 years.4) Can you please clarify whether physical presence is required from the international experts for consultation workshops, dissemination events, and other meetings? Can you please specify the events for which physical presence from the international expert will be required?Answer: The physical presence of relevant experts is ideal for consultation workshops and dissemination events.
