New clarification added: Clarification:Dear messers,Could you please advise if there will be any possibilty to extend the tender submission as the drawings will take long to be completed hence we have to provide 17 sets of drawings.Furthermore, could you please advise if we can provide the drawings through google links as the size of the files might be large to be uploaded in the system.UNOPS Answer:This tender was extended till 7 January 2024. New clarification added: Clarification:Thank you for the clarification. We understand that after finishing the civil work we get paid. Our question is that will partial payment commences after completion of each CT installation and training? Or payment will commence after installation of all 17 units?UNOPS Answer:Payment will be made for each site after finalizing the necessary works for each facility as a partial payment, in addition, other payment will be made upon delivery of each CT scanner for each facility as a partial delivery.The above means that payment will be made 1. upon preparing sites 2. upon CT delivery and finalizing the training

New clarification added: Clarification:Refering to the BOQs of all lots there is a statement within item supply and install of CT Scanner in each of the BOQs ''Refer to Detailed specifecations for the CT''we are unable to find the detailed specification of the CT scanners. could you please advise.UNOPS Answer:CT specifications are available in the file "RFQ_Section_III_Returnable Bidding Forms-rev.1" which is available under the documents tab.

New clarification added: Clarification:Dear UNOPS team,this is to inform you that our team has conducted a site visit to Dyala-Baquba Teaching Hospital and the hospital informed us that the site indicated in the files you shared is for MRI, and yet they have not dedicated any location for CT-Scan Room.Could you please advise and confirm that the location for MRI will be dedicated for CT-Scan?UNOPS Answer:Please note that there is a dedicated place in the above-mentioned hospital for installing the CT scan. It will be located in the Emergency Department - Division of Communicable Diseases, The UNOPS team has visited the site and has an official confirmation on this.Please double-check and revisit the emergency department.

Specifically, I would like to know whether we should proceed with the site visit using the letter from the Ministry of Health (MOH) or if we should wait for UNOPS to issue an official site visit with a specific date. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.Additionally, our company is planning to participate in this bid through a joint venture with another company. We would like to clarify whether we should submit our bid using the lead company's UNOPS eSourcing Profile or if it doesn't matter which party's eSourcing profile is used.Thank you in advance for your assistance and guidance on these matters.UNOPS Answer:No site visit will be organized from the UNOPS side. As mentioned in the tender, bidders should visit hospitals and present the MoH letter to facilitate the entrance. The company that will participate in the tender should have a UNOPS eSourcing profile & should lead the JV.

New clarification added: Clarification:Dear Sirs,we would like to point out that the published tender specs are not related to the Iraqi Ministry of Health tendering specs for 128 Slice CT, as the technical affairs directorate / medical equipment department has updated their specs based on the hospital's need and inquiry.therefore, you are kindly requested to revisit the tender specs as it is done based on the old version and accidentally favoriting for one tenderer. UNOPS Answer:The announced specifications in this tender are in line with beneficiary requirements (MoH) with generic specifications. Please review them and in case you have any clarification, please use this tool to clarify; UNOPS will provide the response accordingly.

New clarification added: Clarification:Dear SirIs it possible to share CAD drawings for each site in order to start the preparation of layout drawings?UNOPS Answer:there is no AUTO-CAD DWG, please use the assessment reports to review all plans, and make sure to visit the site in order to prepare detailed drawings as per requested in the tender.

New clarification added: Clarification:As per our meeting yesterday, can you please send the focal points list so can arrange site visit. As per the pre bid meeting outcomes, could you please share the letter/POC for each hospital in order to conduct the site visits as the time is running and the inspection must be done ASAP.UNOPS Answer:Please note that the letter is available now under the documents tab, File name: "Site Visit Facilitation letter ". Bidders should present the letter at the hospital sites.
