The United Nations Office for Project Services , Ethiopian Multi-country office (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS ETMCO) is pleased to invite competent Bidders to submit their respective competitive Bids for the Supply and Delivery of CCTV Cameras for Ministry of Water and Energy, Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded under file ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. New clarification added: Dear Vendors,UNOPS Ethiopia Multi county office has opted to extend the bid deadline until 13th October 2023, 09:00 UTC due to very low response rate compared to expected. Kindly proceed in working with your offers and feel free to submit your offers with the new deadline. New clarification added: Dear Partner,Would be able to answer the following questions?All signals will be communicating to the central monitoring station. Therefore where is the central monitoring station? How will one NVR serve 9 diffferent locations with the ability to centrally store the video feeds? Who will provide and maintain the Sim cards used in the cameras for the 4G connectivity being proposed? Will the cameras be solely powered by Solar or will there be need to have backup grid connectivity if so who will be responsible for the electrical connection to the customer location and what facilities currently exist in those different locations? If there is a need for grid power connections to the cameras, is there a provission for laying underground power cables from source to the pole/cameras?Is there a Video Wall at the central location to monitor the remote sites?Do you have the dimension of the central locations where the cameras are monitored?Kind regardsITM EngineeringDear Vendor,Thank you for your clarification questions, Please see the below our response for each of your clarification questions.The central monitoring station is located in MOWE office Addis Ababa All signals will be collected at one station where will be recorded and monitored Our partner will be taking care of the sim card subscription Yes all cameras and related items will be powered by solar only. No grid supply usage is needed. No need for grid power. Yes there is. The cameras will be installed on poles nearby bridges to monitor hydrological sites. Camera installation heights are indicated in the technical document.The locations are different and remote.Best RegardsUNOPS

The bid has two separate lots; Lot one is without mounting poles and bidders are required to provide dimensions, designs of the pole etc using the information provided by bidders UNOPS will provide the poles. The second lot includes the pole. You can bid for both or whichever lot you see appropriate.We will get back to you with the response for the second question the soonest possible.Best RegardsUNOPS

New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madame,Please note that in Section II, Part A, point 3, it is mentioned n. 9 places where goods shall be delivered, while in Part B, letter C, it is mentioned that the delivery place is only one in Addis Ababa.In case of multiple final destination, please inform us about the quantity of CCTV Camera set to deliver in each place, given that in each Lot there are just n. 5 sets and the final destination are n.9 .Please be so kind to clarify these aspects of delivery, to allow us to submit our best offer in due time,Thank you,Best regards,Gianfranco EspositoDear Vendor,Thank you for your clarification question, the nine locations are installation sites; as there are no storage facilities in the installation sites UNOPS has opted for the delivery to be in Addis Ababa. Yes, there are multiple final destinations which the client and UNOPS will facilitate the delivery to the final destinations.
