New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised question and our official response in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2023/46477 :Question1: According to B.O.Q item 13 it is required to supply, installation and commissioning of (9) VFDs (Pump controller) for 9 wells but for item 14 it is required to supply, installation and commissioning of remote control system to connect 12 wells to central control system.We want your clarification and more details about VFD controller that installed before in other 3 wells ( not included in item 13) This clarification is necessary to understand overall control system and to see if 3 wells devices ( not included in item 13) will be allign with overall control system or not.Answer1: Please note the condition is to specify the capacity of the control system to be aibel to handle the plan extension with three new wells in the futar .Question 2: After our site visit, we didn’t find the generator 500KVA and Transformer 500KVA while you have mentioned them in the drawings. Please clarify with providing the DBS , transformers and generators which are existing in the sites ?Answer 2: Please note that the generator 500KVA and Transformer 500KVA are in process to be delivered to the Alheare water branch funded by UNOPS under other subprojects and the location and plane to be as the design drawing .Question 3: Please clarify the transformers types ( step up or step down ) after the PV Inverter? Answer 3: Please refer to the solar drawing page 6 and 7 the the transformers is 500KVAyNd11, 0.4/11 KV " step up "Question4: Kindly specify if there is a bid security and the percentage of itAnswer4: No, there is not.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Please note the below raised question and our official response in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2023/46477 :Question 1: For the PV module, can we count the bifacial added power towards the minimum capacity requirement of 625w?Answer 1: Please refer to the BoQ and Technical specification ,Question 2: For the pump inverters, do they need PV input or only AC input?Answer 2: Please refer to the BoQ and Technical specification, BoQ item 13.0 Electrical Pump Inverter (Controller). Question 3: For the remote control system, what is the maximum distance that it can cover? The specification says more than 2 km, but we need a precise value.Answer 3: Please note that specification is the minimum requirement. Question 4: For the zero export feature of the inverters, are the load phases balanced or do they have phase differences?Answer 4: Please refer to the electrical system layout and Technical specification. Question 5: Should the hybrid controller have the capability to automatically run the diesel generator?Answer 5: Please refer to the electrical system layout and Technical specification. There is an MTS between the public grid and the diesel generator. Question 6: Reference is made to the item number 5 ( Cleaning System) of the Civil Works, BOQ document. Kindly note the following observiations:-In the BOQ file, it is stated that (Supply, install, test and commissioning of a Solar Panel Cleaning System as per technical specifications). It is observed that only a few details on technical specifications are mentioned in the BOQ. No further specifications are provided in the Technical Specifications file named (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION_SHA-001).In the BOQ file, it is stated that (Contractor shall provide a details drawings and specifications for the system including piping , distribution networks and water tanks.) Do you require the detailed drawings and specfications to be submitted with the bidding offer?In the file named (Site Investigation Report_SHA-001), it is stated that the cleaning systems for 0.534MWp, achieved by minimum costs and high performance overall. In order to fulfill this objective, further details are required such as:what type of water tanks are preferred (plastic or metal or concrete)?What is the acceptable minimum number of water tanks?What about connection pipes from water source (water well or water mains) to the cleaning system tanks?Does connection to the nearest water source require the supply and installation of a water pump? Answer 6: Please note that the unit will be installed in the water wells filed and in addition to the guidance specification ,the manufacturer standard for the cleaning system is acceptable. Question 7: regards the HSE steel galvanized material, as per drawing S03 the dimension is 50X100X2 mm and but the dimension in drawing S04 is 40X80X1.5 mm, please clarify.Answer 7: Please revisit the drawing S03 and S04, both sizes are required based on the position of the HSE. Question 8: The quantity and material definition of the wall in the control room building is missing. please confirm.Answer 8: Please refer to BoQ Civil and Structural works Item No. 7Question 9: The detailed drawing of the steel boundary fence (S012) shows RC beam cross-section under the gate. Is the same cross-section under the whole length of the boundary fence?Answer 9: Please refer to the drawing S012 fence detail .This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly

The length is 2700 m for the red cables and 2700 m for the black M cables 1350m for the red cable and 1350m for the black cableAnswer: Please note it is the same1 (2x6mm)² Flexible DC Solar Cable Or (1C*6sqr.mm) (Red & Black)- 1 (2x70mm)² Flexible DC Or (1C*70 sqr.mm) (Red & Black) Question 4: Can you give details of the parts of the weather observation station, item 9.2Answer: Please refer to the Technical specification item 1.7 Monitoring & Data AcquisitionQuestion 5: For cables that are not invalidated in the table of quantities and are mentioned in the drawings without extension, which are (3 * 95 m, 4 * 50 m, 2 * 1.5 m)Answer: Please refer to the BoQ only. There are existing cables not required and there are some cables required within the control unit item 12,1Question 6: Is it possible to prepare a Site Visit and extends the Clarification / Submission period?Answer: UNOPS does not arrange for site visit but encourages all bidders to visit the site by themselves and get in contact with water and sanitation branch at alshihir city. The clarification and sumbission period will be extended. Question 7: Please clarify below points:For cables in order to proceed further:-I) Conductor material.Please refer to the drawing, technical specification and BoQ . II) Voltage grade.III) Armoured or unarmoured type.Please refer to the drawing, technical specification and BoQ . It is mentioned clearly the type AC or DC, the flexible and Armoured types . for amounting structure : you have mentioned in the drawings that The tilt angle is 12 degree and in the Technical Specifications you have confirmed that The tilt angle must be South orientation with a fixed tilt angle 16 degrees!! they are different, which one do you prefer? Can we quote 'material aluminum?Please refer to the drawing .Due to the special profiles used in the attached design solution, all of them need to be open new mold, and the price will be relatively high. Can we change it to a design solution that we can provide?Please refer to the RFQ condition and technical specification .This shall form part of the official solicitation documents.
