New clarification added: Q8: With reference to the Revision #1 "Section II: Schedule of Requirements", which now states as minimum technical requirements "Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard - OLP 16 licenses pack", please note that OLP ("Open License Program") has been discontinued by Microsoft as of 31-Dec-2021.and replaced OLP with CSP as the buying program to transact "on-premises" licensing aka perpetual licensing. Please advise. A8: The perpetual License for Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Standard 16-core can be provided through CSP modality. The downgrade option from 2022 to 2019 Server version would also be needed.

New clarification added: Q7: with reference to your reply in Q2 and Q3, it is our understanding you would need 1 CAL license for SQL Server and 1 CAL license for Windows Server. As pricing is different, please also indicate if you want User CAL or Device CAL.A7: Section II: Schedule of Requirements and Section III: Returnable Bidding Forms are updated in Lot 2, in order to reflect the clarifications related to CAL requirements.

New clarification added: Q6: Regarding the Lot 2, we have the following question:As per SQL server 2019 licensing guide, a user CAL or device cal is needed for each device and each end user accesing the SQL server. Can you confirma that you only need one SQL Server user CAL.A6: We confirm that one license of MS Windows SQL Server 2019 Standard and only one CAL license is needed. 

New clarification added: Q5: Regarding the "Business registration (certificate of incorporation) document", is it necessary/obligatory to provide a certified translation of such document to English if it is originally issued in the language of the country where the bidder is incorporated?A5: Certified translation is not needed. UNOPS resevers the right to perform a background check and/or request a translation of the submitted documents into English.

In case you are looking to license the SQL Server based on processor cores, then please also provide the number of cores that you need to license.A2:  We need to license  the SQL server through Server/CALs approachQ3: With reference to Lot.2 Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard, please clarify the number of cores that you need to license.A3: Licensing based on processor cores is not needed. A Server/CALs licensing approach with one license of MS Windows SQL Server 2019 Standard and only one CAL license is needed.Q4: Please confirm whether the 1 month delivery also applies to Lot.2 Microsoft.A4: Yes, it refers to all items within the tender.
