New clarification added: Hello,Could we please receive a copy of the details of that clarification meeting that was held in order to confirm the exact descriptions/details of all the items of equipment,e.g. there are more than type of the 4WD backhoe loader? Furthermore, could this bid security be made no more mandatory since there is much of an unusual rigour associated with the sourcing effort for all of these items? It should be reconsidered that it might be much easier for the bidders to proceed with this bidding process without that extra condition. This is because the possession of the bid security won't make the sourcing challenges any easier nor would it create more opportunities for getting better quotes.Retaining it as a mandatory condition, could rather be a disincentive for proceeding with the bidding process. Dear Vendor;Vendors did not attend the clarification meeting. Therefore, there is no minutes to share with vendors and all interested bidders are encouraged to raise their clarifications prior clarification deadline. The bid security is requested in the ITB as per the UNOPS procurement manual and is a requirement under this ITB.Regards,AFCO Procurement Unit
