The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidders to submit a quotation for the Supply and Delivery of personal protective equipment -PPEs (Body Armored and Upgrade panels) for UNOPS - RSHQ - Afghanistan Office in Kabul, In accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the technical requirement as set out in this Invitation To Bid (ITB).

New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam:Thank you for your clarification email. Please see the below answers in bold for each question.We have looked through your requirements unde this ITB and we would like to inform you that we have 150 pcs of brand new NIJ IV Multi-Curved Shooter’s Cut Ceramic Plates including Ballistic Vests readily available in Kabul.As Per the UNOPS set forth requirement the partial bid and delivery is not allowed, so everything must be from the origin.1. Will UNOPS accept/consider our quote for the quantity we readily have available in Kabul? Per the UNOPS requirement and set forth requirement the partial bid and delivery is not allowed, so everything must be from the origion.2. Will UNOPS hold a pre-bid meeting so we can bring a ballistic plate as a sample for testing/inspection purpose? NO. UNOPS Afghanistan will conduct a sample check process at the final stage who meets the UNOPS Minimum requirements. 3. Will UNOPS accept/consider our quote if we offer the ceramic plates with NIJ IV protection level and following listed specifications? Protection level can exceed the requirement, no matter, we just cannot accept lower level of protection for more details please refer to section II schedule of requirement.Thank you UNOPS Procurement Team

New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam,Thank you for your clarification email. Please see the below answer for each questions in bold:For Item 2 Bulletproof hard armor upgrade panels(nij level III)1 It is said , the level needed is Level III and Spartan Ar550 Armor Rifle Trauma Plate. We cannot test AR550. but we can provide you only NIJ Level III will this be ok ? The test report is mandatory. 2 Plate size is 10*8, that mean 20*25cm right ? Because normal plate is 25*30cm. The required size is 10*8 please refer to the solicitation documents section II and III.3 I think this item is a plate, but in the picture, their is a bulletproof vest. pls confirm , do you need a bulletproof vest or a hard plate ? Concealable bulletproof vest with plates.4 It seems they need a steel plate , but normal our plate is ALO ceramic+PE?. Steel or ceramic but should meet the protection level and size as per requirement set forth in the bidding documents section II and III.Thank you UNOPS Procurement Team
