New clarification added: Question 1:Regarding Form B - price Schedule Form, you are asking for DAP prices. Please note that the DAP price is including shipping but excluding the import charges (Customs Duties, Clearance and Taxes). Are you going to bear these charges? Do you have a clearing agent in Lebanon who will take care for the import. Please clarify.Answer 1:We will not cover customs and clearance cost and these should be included in your offer. UN in Lebanon and UNIFIL often collaborated with a custom clearer agent called ATA. You may reach out to them for quotation by contacting info@ata-lebanon.com, or you have the option to choose your own custom clearer agent. Question 2:Is the contract will be exempted from VAT? If so and in order to create an Invoice without VAT, we will need a document from you that this contract is exmpted from VAT. Usualy, this document will be issued by Ministry of Finance in Lebanon. If this contract is not exempted from VAT, we have to add VAT on our offer. Please clarify.Answer 2: Taxes exemption is done at the arrival of the goods as we need the Delivery order that is usually issued by the customs. Once the Delivery order is received by the clearer, we will be able to issue an exemption letter and hand it back to the clearer agent and eventually they will clear the goods and deliver it to the address as indicated.
