New clarification added: Clarification from Suppliers - "Please refer to the schedule of requirement as published. A sample image is provided for guidance purposes only" = PLEASE NOTE, NO SAMPLE PICTURE FOUND, KINDLY PROVIDE SAMPLE PICTURE -Could you let us know if device should be licensed or unlicensed radios- Please do you know what range do you need for the talking device to cover? it is not mentioned in your specifications-The Talking devices, is it for people with autism? -You responded that, ''A sample image is provided for guidance purposes only and devices that meet the minimum technical requirements will be acceptable." Kindly upload the sample picture because it will help to offer a fit for purpose system to your project.-Please may we know the kind of talking device requested and what it will be used for. -I do not seem tosee any sample image of this device, kindly point us to the image for clarity purposes. OEM request sample image to be able to identify the item requested -As at today, there is no sample image in the schedule of requirement as stated. Since we do not have a brand or part number, can you please put up a sample picture, so as to give us a clear idea of the type of device required?-REFERENCE TO FORM C: TECHNICAL QUOTATION FORMAre we to supply Solar Panel with size 50mm x 52mm in addition to the Talking Device. Kindly clarify.-We notice in last clarification, a reference picture will be provided in document section. But we cannot find it. Please kindly advise.-What communicating device are you referring to? We have many. Is there a brand or product name?- 1. Kindly confirm how many Languages will be loaded onto the device. Single or dual Language. 2. Also confirm the required file size of the device based on the intended recorded message.-I had already opted out from the bid before the picture was sent for more clarification which gave me previlege to re-bid for the job.Under vendor confirmation, i discovered that i couldnt confirm my readiness to bid now. Please kindly assist from your end to reset me on vendor confirmation.-We are interesting to participate in this bidding but could you please clarify these issues for us: will a touchscreen translator device with a Wifi translator be suitable in this regard this product does not have any solar panel but it includes a chargeable battery? We await your quick response in this connection.-Please We need to know the following specifications about the Talking devices like :1. Power output,2. Is the required taking device a Vhf or UHF?3. Is it POC or RF 2-way?4. The preferred frequency bandwith ? -When you say talkng device, do you mean either of the following;1. E Portable book reader2. A walkie Talkie for communication3. Must it be a know brand?Also could you throw more loght on what the device would be used for ?Clarification Response-Sample image attached-The script will be translated in 5 languages.-The recorded messages will last around 45 minutes.-As specified in the RFQ, we prefer the device with solar panel- There is no named brand.-Please refer to the schedule of requirement as published.

New amendment added #1: Amendment 11- This amendment is for the purpose of uploading sample images of talking device to the document section of this RFQ. These images are for guidance purposes only and devices that meet the minimum technical requirements will be acceptable.2- The second purpose of this amendment is to extend the submission deadline from 22 to 29 June 2021.

New clarification added: Clarification from SuppliersAs we are perceiving the need for these units is to distribute a particulair message from community to community from possible nationals that do not speak the recipients language.By way of thought the communication delivery must be made in person to community for safety reasons.Clarification ResponseThe device is to distribute messages in points where communities gather usually.

New clarification added: Clarification from Suppliers- Can we have a sample picture of the rquested Talking Device for proper guidance.- Kindly provide us with Talking Devices name. Are we to quote for Walking Talking devices and what is the name or Fm radio (FM broadcasting)- Is there any pictures to give us better understanding of this device - Unless if a preferred Vendor has been choosen to supply the requested Talking Devices. If not, there is need to make available a sample picture of the Taliking devices to guide the vendors.- Please there are many types of talking devices can you tell us the maker and product ID that you really want.- We kindly write to request the Part Number for the Talking devices - Please kindly confirm if the talking device needed is portable(walkie-talkie) or non portable (calling machine).Please provide a picture of the goods needed for reference.Clarification ResponseTalking devices brand can be chosen by the vendor. New clarification added: Clarification from SupplierThe technical specification states Talking Devices with several specifications. However, there is need to know if the device is for:1. Disabled persons2. Age3. Sample picturesClarification ResponseThe device will be distributed in points where communities gather usually, they are not specifically for disable people and they will be heard from all ages of populations at risk.Thank You

New clarification added: Clarification from SupplierIs there a requirement to prreload any message on the device?Clarification ResponseDear Graham Mandizha,We need a vendor that can also upload the recorded messages once they are ready. We will take care of elaborating and recording the messages, the vendor must only upload it in the devices so they cannot be modified afterwards by people using them.Thank you
