Tender description: The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Sub regional Operational Hub Amman, Jordan desires to invite bidders to participate in the subject tender for the Supply of & Installation of ICT Equipment at UNOPS offices and Governmental Educational & Health Facilities located in all governorates in Jordan.The successful bidder shall deliver the required goods in line with UNOPS standards and shall follow all applications and directives as identified by the attached Schedule of Requirements.

Following tender evaluation UNOPS has concluded that none of the submitted offers were compliant with the set criteria, thus the decision was made to opt for a retender process under the new tender ref: ITB/2021/19966 that would be published soon through UNGM.

New clarification added: Dears,Kindly note in addition to amendments highlighted in yellow in “ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements_V3”, for item 3 Laptop Option 2 : screen sizes will be accepted in between 13" to 13.9” Max, Sizes outside this period will not be accepted as for item 4 and 5 Laptop Option 3 and 4 : screen sizes equal to or above 14” will be accepted.Best regards,

New amendment added #1: The highlighted in yellow amendments where applied to subject tender "ITB_Section_III_Returnable Bidding Forms_V3" and "ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements_V3".Additionally tender deadline is extended to 25th of April.

New clarification added: Dears,Pre-bid Meeting was held for the subject tender on the 6th of April.The following main points were discussed.Please find UNOPS comment in Bold.1. Battery requirement for laptops (items 3,4,5) specifically Watts and Cell number would limit competition. Requirements revised to mention Min life battery only ≥ 6 hours .2. Mentioning Laptop division would not be necessary and to be left for bidder to comply as suited.3. UNOPS to provide any needed custom clearance documents under DAP incoterm (i.e. exemption letter if possible) to support the awarded bidder noting that the goods are to be imported under the supplier name subjected to delivery guarantee by Jordanian customs and any extra fees.4. HDMI port not available for item 1 PC.1 HDMI port will be required, Converted will not be accepted.5. Mini Tower option requirement to be removed from item 1.6. VGA port requirement is not required under all docking stations.7. Mac compatibility option under “Wireless keyboard and mouse kit” is not required.8. Windows version to be specified for PC “Windows 10 Pro & MS Office 2019 STD”.9. Unify memory capacity for items 15 to 17. Will be unified to 256 MB.10. Given that all new docking stations come equipped with USB type C connector. UNOPS will accept type C, Docking connector and the docking port are optional.

New clarification added: Dears,In regards to your clarification requests, please find bellow UNOPS responce in Bald:1- Item 3 option 2 & Item 4 option 3: The specification combination only available on DELL laptops, as Lenovo we can provide 60 watts 3 Cells batteries Max Battery Life is 7.9hr, we highly request to change this.Requirements revised to mention Min life battery only ≥ 6 hours .2- Item 5 option 3: The Specification combination only available on Dell laptops: we can offer: 15.6" instead of the 14" with the same other specifications since 14" are not available on Lenovo, this machine suitable for business that required a bigger screen size, based on that only Dell can participate in this Tender, we highly request to change the mentioned specs to allow Lenovo to participate in this tender. 14” and above (including 15.6”) will be considered compliant and accepted.3- in the technical specifications required, in Item 1, "Personal Computer" you have requested "UTB Patch cord Cat 6". Please confirm that you mean UTP instead of UTB.UTP confirmed.4- in the technical specifications required, in Item 1, "Personal Computer" you have requested "MS office" but did not specify the required version. Please confirm that you consider compliant if we offer a Microsoft Office version that includes the applciation "Excel, Word, and Powerpoint". Only MS office 2019 standrad are required ,educational liscence will not be accepted.5- Kindly note that in Items 3,4, and 5, you haven't specified any operating system to be installed on the laptops. Please confirm that you consider comlpiant if we offer the laptops without any operating system. OS is not required for items 3,4 and 5.6- Regarding the specifications of the photocopy Please explain what is the mean by the following . Photocopier Function: Copier, Photocopy Speed, Photocopy Color, Original or Local Trey included. Mentioned specs are standard and self-explanatory.7- Regarding the specification of Item 5 Kindly please change Memory capacity to be 512MB, so we can be comply.Memory Capacity revised and unified to 256 MB for items 15 ,16 and 17.8- Regarding the tender specification, the laptop specifications item 5 option 4. Please confirm, screen 15.6'' is higher considered comply? Yes, Confirmed.9- Inquiry about item #17,Is the required colored or Monochrome Photocopier ? , please confirm. Black and white (Mono) requirment is confirmed.10- is the bid is one lot ?Yes, the bid is consisted of one lot.11- Kindly find the below inquiries for the technical specifications requirement :Personal ComputerAccessories ,Regarding the monitor, please advise for the size and specs required.Size is specified 21” and above.12 - Laptop option 1Interfaces The specification requires 2 x USB Type-C. However the available is 1 x USB-C & 2 or 3 USB-A, please confirm if acceptable.Confirmed, 1 x USB-C & 2 USB-A or above will be accepted.13 - Latest laptop generations do not have dedicated docking ports, are most of the new docking stations are USB-C based. The extension will be considered.20 - According to ITEM NO.(17), I appreciate if you reduce the capacity of the Automatic Document Feeder up to 50 sheets instead of 70 sheets as the same as ITEM NO. (16) Multifunction Printers (Monochrome). Capacity revised and unified at 50 sheets for Items 15,16 and 17.
