New clarification added: Hi, in the document "2 - RFP-2020-15174 _Section_II_Returnable Bidding Forms" pg-2, you stated that there are (6) causeways, and on pg-3 "The consultant has to conduct during this phase the geotechnical and the topographical survey". However, the scope of the geotechnical and topographical surveys is not defined, which will affect the methodology of the project. it seems you based the six causeways based on a preliminary geotechnical and topographical data, would you make that data available to the consultant? If not, will you define the scope of geotechnical and topographical requirement and study, taking under consideration the length of the road is over a hundred kilometer.ThanxDear Bidder,Thank you for the request for clarification you sent. Please see the response below:No topographical surveys were conduction and the locations were selected according to the locations of streams (Khor) that crosses the road. Thus the topographical survey required is related only to the specific selected location (as per the coordinates) and its surroundings to the limit that will enable the designer to produce a perfect design.

As per the TOR, the design shall be submitted to UNOPS and through UNOPS to the local authority for review and approval. Does the design submittals need to be signed by a local engineer for the local authority's approval?2. Will there be site visits?3. New clarification added: I have a request to make regarding Returnable Proposal Schedule 3 on partnership with local firms. At this time of COVID-19, it may be difficult to easily get a good local firm to associate with, particularly for firms coming from outside Sudan.
