Description

UNICEF South Sudan is looking to establish Long Term Arrangement (LTA) with Financial Service provider(s) (FSP) that have the capacity to deliver Cash transfer services throughout South Sudan to eligible beneficiaries at the national level with an acceptable geographic coverage of delivery points for the Project.  The LTA will be established for an initial period of 2 years, with the possibility to extend on mutual agreement and satisfactory performance of the FSP. 

 

The FSP should have an established biometric system in place that has already been proved to work effectively for Cash Transfer Services in South Sudan.  The financial transfer services include, but are not limited to:

  • One-time monetary transfers
  • Regular, monthly, bi-monthly or semi-annual monetary transfers

 

Specific objectives of the contract will include:

  • Deliver financial transfer services to eligible beneficiaries as per the parameters and list provided by UNICEF
  • Properly account for the transfers delivered and make the reconciliation of delivered benefit amounts at the end of each payment phases
