Refurbishment and Protection of UNAMI Interim Accommodation Facilities - IAF Blocks in Baghdad International Zone (IZ), iraq.

1. The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for REFURBISHMENT AND PROTECTION OF UNAMI IAF ACCOMMODATION BLOCKS in Baghdad, Iraq including: - SITE PREPARATION - EARTH WORK - CONCRETE WORK - STEEL WORKS - SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SAND BAGS 2. The project should be executed by a qualified and experienced company, based on Scope of work (SOW), Bill of Quantities, Specifications, Drawings, Plans, UN General Conditions of contracts and other related documents which will be provided later on by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI accordingly. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly (Request for Proposal). 3. The selected contractor should provide material, work force, and equipments to prepare the site, execute the necessary civil, electrical, mechanical, IT and finishing work as well to provide escort to the workers to the International Zone in Baghdad, Iraq to the project. 4. Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOI''s received after the above deadline.
