Description

Background

Assisting 80 Million People in around 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

WFP’s Digital Solutions Delivery Branch oversees all solution development activities for WFP, covering the full technology stack and delivering changes to existing solutions. This function manages all aspects of development, from understanding business requirements to designing and building solutions and overseeing quality assurance.

In May 2018 the Digital Solution Delivery function released a new Budgeting and Planning solution for WFP Head Quarters and Country Offices, fully integrated with other corporate systems (SAP ERP) and fully based on CCH® Tagetik software. Since the CCH® Tagetik solution Go Live, the Digital Solution Delivery function works to enhance it to cover new Business Requirements and to enrich user experiences through a fast, agile development and delivery. It supports all End Users and Business Stakeholders in assessing, addressing and resolving incidents raised during the daily usage of CCH® Tagetik within the scope of the on-going Application Maintenance. It aims to fast delivery of high-quality digital solutions that meet the Business need.

Services required

WFP seeks expressions of interest from companies, service providers, system integrators, consulting firms, or other technology companies with proven experience in CCH® Tagetik software design, configuration and support, covering the following 5 services:

  1. Advisory/analysis and solution delivery services;
  2. System design/configuration/development/integration services;
  3. Quality assurance/testing services;
  4. Infrastructure setup services;
  5. Solution support/maintenance services.

Response

In order to participate in the pre-selection exercise, companies are required to provide the following:

  • Confirmation of interest in being considered for one or more of the above services;
  • Brief summary (max three A4 pages) of experience of, professional and technical competence in and capacity to deliver these services. This must include where applicable:
    • Years of experience with CCH® Tagetik solutions (CCH® Tagetik partnership recognition and/or certification are valued);
    • Years of experience with other UN Agencies or Public Sectors (specific references are valued);
    • Company contact point for requests for clarification WFP may raise during the review process.
  • No financial proposal is required at this stage of the process.
