United Nations Headquarters in New York is seeking qualified companies to perform Elevator Operator and Conference Room Set-up services, including water jug and coat room services, for its facilities in New York City. The interested companies are requested to respond to this Expression of Interest document according to the instructions given in the following "Specific Requirements/Information" section. 1. CONFERENCE ROOM SET-UP SERVICES: [ ] (Please check if interested) The vendor will provide all the necessary personnel to peform conference room set-up and coat room services during various meetings in the Conference and General Assembly Buildings at UNHQ. There are eight (8) major conference rooms and twelve (12) smaller conference rooms in the UNHQ New York, with seating capacity ranging from 20 to 400 persons. Conference services shall include the following: -Placement of name signs in conference rooms in accordance with the seating protocol provided by Meeting Services Unit. -Placement of drinking glasses and water pitchers at designated desks and stocking of drinking glasses and water pitchers at various locations. Water pitchers must be refilled as necessary. -Placements of note pad paper and sharpened pencils in holders at designated desks. They are to be available to all at scheduled meetings. Pencils and note pad holders must be refilled as necessary. -Clearing of conference and meeting settings after the events take place. -Cleaning of glasses, cups and water pitchers after use. -Coat Room Attendants and services on a daily basis during working hours of the United Nations. Please note: All supplies are to be provided by the United Nations. 2. ELEVATOR OPERATOR SERVICES: [ ] (Please check if interested) The vendor shall be responsible for providing elevator operator personnel for passenger and freight cars at UNHQ and temporary buildings during normal working hours, off-hours, and certain peak periods. Actual hours and numbers of personnel required for elevator operation will be scheduled on a monthly basis. It is the responsibility of the Contractor that the required elevators are manned at all times as per the schedules provided. Please Note: For all above services, the Contractor shall supply, at its sole expense, uniforms for its employees in material, design and color as specified by the United Nations.
