New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. ITB/2018/5406:Questions 01: Regarding RFQ/2018/5406, Returnable Quotation Schedule 10 (Bid Security Bond), and since the period between posting the tender and deadline is too short for getting a security bond because of the banks routine, is it acceptable to attach a Certified Cheque?Answer: This should be accepted, and the supplier can submit the bid bind to UNOPS premises at (The former EU building - Hadda area - Mujahid Street, near the French Embassy - Sana’a, Yemen) within 3 days after the closing date. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Best regards

New clarification added: Dear bidder,Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. ITB/2018/5406:Questions 01: The UOM (Unit of Measurement) for this item is M3, that’s is not comparable with the item's description please confirm ?Answer: The Unit of Measurement is Right as mentioned in BoQ cubic meter (m3). The measurement method will be calculated based on actual quantities of adding/supplying GRANULAR BASE COURSE which includes the removal of existing Asphalt layer and repairing of existing granular base course.Please refer to the Cut&Fill design quantities at Drawings No. 49 to 107 which shows the methodology of calculation.Questions 02: There is no specification REF for this item, please clarify ? Answer: The main work in this item is, supplying granular base course, please read the SCHEDULE OF WORKS (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS) carefully especially clause number 511and 513.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.
