Provision of Real-time Court Transcription Services in the French Language

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) located in Leidschendam, The Netherlands, seeks Expression(s) of Interest for Real-time Court Transcription Services for the production of full verbatim transcripts of courtroom sessions in the French language. The STL has one courtroom and produces transcripts of all proceedings, be they public, closed or private sessions. These transcripts are required in the three official languages of the Tribunal: English, French and Arabic. This Expression of Interest pertains to French Real-Time only. The Real-time transcripts shall be produced on-site in the STL courtroom and distributed simultaneously through the STL real-time transcription system: LegalCraft Transcend. The STL will require ''adhoc'' Real-time French transcription services estimated between 20 to 50 days over an 18-month period. The Court sessions vary and may sit from between 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m depending on the courtroom schedule. On average a transcript contains 26 pages per uninterrupted hour.
