Provision of Satellite Audio Services for UNMISS Radio Miraya in Juba South Sudan

1. The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) intends to establish a Contract for the Provision of Satellite Audio Services for UNMISS Radio Miraya in Juba, South Sudan. The resultant contract will be for one (1) year with option to extend for two (2) years of one (1) year each. Interested service providers are requested to submit their expression of interest for consideration. Requirement 2. UNMISS Radio Miraya broadcasts on FM and social media news, UN mandate information, public service announcements, discussions and interactives programmes twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week in most parts of South Sudan. 3. The requirement is for the provisions of a single channel bandwidth on satellite covering South Sudan with C band beam footprint with minimum 34dbW transmit coverage. Polarisation is to be RHCP for uplinking. The audio signal will be upliked from Juba, South Sudan using a 3.7 meter dish with RHCP. The signal will be downlinked all over South Sudan using a receiving dish of 2.4 meter LHCP and fed to the FM transmitters for FM Transmission. Conditions 4. Interested service providers with the capacity are invited to submit their EOIs by email, courier or hand delivery as indicated below. The EOI must include, at a minimum, the following documentation/information: (a) Before submitting EOIs, interested vendors are required to be fully registered at least at basic level in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using this link https://www.ungm.org. (b) Vendors are to provide proof that they are registered for the particular requirement in UNGM under the specified UN Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC Code No: 83111602). (c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM vendor registration number under the specified UNSPSC code. 5.
