Provision of Temporary Contractual Personnel for UNIC-Tokyo

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), on behalf of and representing the United Nations Information Centre Tokyo (UNIC Tokyo), is seeking a qualified and experienced human resources provider company to provide temporary contractual personnel in 3 areas: 1) Daily Temporary Assistant(s): Initially 1 position with possibility of additional 1 position during the contract term. 2) Temporary Assistant – Logistics: 1 Position 3) Temporary Assistant – Communications: 1 Position ESCAP is interested in contracting with a firm(s) that proposes appropriate salaries, benefits and incentives for attracting and retaining the best qualified individuals for the positions to be filled. The contract shall have and initial duration of one (1) year with a possibility of two (2) additional one (1) year extensions, totaling three (3) years. An extension of contract shall be at the UN’s sole discretion and shall also be subject to budgetary appropriations, contractor’s performance and contractual personnel’s performances. Requirements of the Human Resources Provider Company: - At least fine (5) years of proven experience in relevant fields - Capacity to deliver required services primarily in Japanese as well as English as required. - Experience of working with international/regional organizations, governmental/institutional organizations and/or multinational corporations is desirable.
