Description
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) intends to replace the existing Air Handling Units within the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), which is located at the UNESCAP Complex on Rajadamnern Nok Avenue, Bangkok, Thailand.
This is the general requirement for the first phase of the work associated with the refurbishment of the entire UNCC HVAC System.
The scope of works will include, but not be limited to, the following:
1.1 Removal and disposal of the old Air Handling Units (AH XXX)
1.2 Supply and installation of a new Air Handling Unit (AHU) and associated items:
1.3 Two-Way Electronic Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV):
1.4 Manual Shut-off valves.
1.5 Chilled water supply strainers.
1.6 Drain valves and pipe connection to the existing drain channel.
1.7 Differential Pressure Switches for filter clog indication.
1.8 Liquid-filled pressure indicator for filter differential pressure
1.9 Electric current detector switch for supply and return fan status feedback.
1.10 AHU with suffix ‘-n’ do not have a return air fan, refer table in section 1.3.
1.11 Thermometers and pressure gauges at inlet and outlet water pipes
1.12 Pipe connection to the existing main pipe, insulation and accessories
1.13 Motorized fresh air damper with electric 24 VAC floating control motor actuator for the fresh air damper. Adjustable travel range, position indicator, automatic end stops, manual gear release. Including wiring and connection to the existing BAS control panel.
1.14 Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Return Air Transmitter. To be duct mounted, with adaptor and mounting flange. Range 0 to 2,000 ppm CO2. Accuracy at 25°C: +/-30 ppm. Non-linearity < 0.5% of Full Scale. Long term stability: < ±5.0% of Full Scale over 5 Years. Response Time (0 to 63%) of 1 minute. Transmitter Output Signal: 0 to 10VDC. Power Supply: 24 VAC (18 to 30 VDC), Class 2. Warm Up time: < 5 minutes. Air Flow Range: 0 to 38 m/s (0 to 7,500 ft./min). Duct probe material: Duct Probe Meets Plenum Rating Requirements of UL 1995, Heating and Cooling Equipment. Including wiring and connection to the existing BAS control panel.
1.15 Motor electrical power connection to existing board.
1.16 All control, monitoring and signal wiring to be installed in new metal conduit and connected to the existing BAS Controller panel, including junction boxes and all accessories.
1.17 Testing and commissioning of all items and setting into operation.
