Provision of Cost-estimating Services for UN Headquarters (NYC)-coordinated construction projects.

The Procurement Division of the United Nations (UN) will shortly be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to supply construction cost-estimating services for projects at the United Nations facilities in New York. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Vendors will be expected to demonstrate: 1. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in providing construction cost-estimating services on an on-call basis, of which a minimum of five (5) years of established, demonstrable knowledge and experience with the NYC construction industry labor market including prevailing wages, trends and outlook. 2. Experience in cost estimating for projects with scope relevant to the envisaged UN projects. 3. Local (NYC vicinity - 90 minute maximum response time) physical presence or representation to enable prompt response and accessibility for urgent project requirements.
