Description
1. The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) through its Aviation Section intends to conduct an in-house training on Aircraft Marshalling for its staff and the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) personnel to be held in Juba, South Sudan. 2. Requirement • Training Organisation/Institution must be approved/accredited by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or its equivalent. • The training shall be conducted for a minimum of forty-five (45) participants in batches of fifteen (15) participants per session. Participants will be from both SSCAA & UNMISS and to be conducted at the UNMISS Logistics Base in Juba, South Sudan. • The course is expected to be completed within twenty-five (25) days. 3. Topics of the Training (minimum requirement) a). All modern techniques of aircraft marshaling b). Duties and responsibilities of mashallers c). Personal protection equipment d). Airside flight safety procedures e). Separation of aircrafts on ramp f). Marshaling signals g). Emergency signals between masallers, pilots and wing-walkers.
