Polycom Premier Support Services for VC Codecs

1. The services of a Contractor are required for the provision of Polycom PREMIER Support Services for up to 57 Polycom HDX videoconference units. One Year Polycom PREMIER Support Services shall include: • Technical telephone support - Business hours M-F • Software Upgrades and Updates • Advanced parts replacement • Escalation support • Online support These support services shall cover up to 57 units of Polycom models: HDX 8000, HDX 9000, HDX 9002 and HDX 9004, HDX 9006. UN is reserving a right to procure support service for any number of units, after receiving proposals with cost per unit clearly identified. Evaluation of companies' capabilities and suitability to carry out the services will take place following the later submission of bids in responses to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) when it is issued. At this later ITB stage vendors are likely (at a minimum) to be expected to demonstrate the following: a. the vendor should have sufficient experience providing support services on Polycom products; b. the vendor should be certified to provide support services on Polycom products. Vendors will be also expected to have a local representation (upon or following appointment) to enable prompt on-site responses to urgent project requirements. Please note that this is not an invitation for submission of proposals. The purpose of this Request for EOIs (REOI) is to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the solicitation, when issued and if invited to the solicitation by UNPD. Vendor submissions in respect of these General Requirements will be requested and assessed at a later (Invitation to Bid) stage.
