Provision of Freight Forwarding Services for 55x20 feet containers loaded with Waste Water Treatment Plant and Spares
1. The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from duly registered and licensed companies for the Provision of freight forwarding services of 55x20 feet containers loaded with Waste Water Treatment Plant and Spares from FCA Shanghai, China to DAP MINUSCA Logistic Base, Bangui Central Africa Republic
2. MINUSCA would like to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the competitive bidding The following specific requirements must be provided or demonstrated:
(i) Company profile
(ii) Reference letters
(iii) Relevant registrations/certifications/licences
(iv) Complete the "Vendor Response Form" (Request for Expression of Interest) and retrun by e-mail to minusca-procurement@un.org, reesn@un.org, peterj@un.org, habonimanaj@un.org or by fax to the number provided above to the attentionof Chief Procurement Officer, no later than 31 July 2015;
(v) MINUSCA will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue an Invitation to Bid (ITB) with detailed technical specifications to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information (company profile, references, certificates & licenses, etc) demonstrating their ability to fulfill MINUSCA requirements.
(vi) The UN also reserves the right to send the Solicitation Documents to Vendors who were identified through additional market research or others means to source the UN requirements
(vii) Unregistered vendors are encouraged to register with UNGM (WWW.UNGM.ORG). Registration with the UNGM is free and mandatory for all Business Partners/companies. If they are not registered with UNGM, MINUSCA will not be able to include them in our List of Invitees.
Complete the vendor registration process with the United Nations Global Marketplace, in order to become approved Vendors for the United Nations;
(viii). MINUSCA reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. Mere submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the ITB documents.
(ix) This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. MINUSCA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at anytime during the EOI or solicitation process. Response to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that the respondent will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only prospective vendors who responded and deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission, will receive the solicitation.
(x) The expressions of interest may be submitted by email , hand-delivery or courier (MINUSCA Logbase, Bangui, Central African Republic.)
(xi) MINUSCA reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline indicated above.
