IMPLEMENTATION OF CHANGES TO COGNOS

EXPRESS PLANNER APPLICATIONS FOR UNICEF

 Proposals must be submitted via UNICEF Web Bidding Tool

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a qualified company for the implementation of specified enhancements and changes to COGNOS Express Planner applications for UNICEF. The Terms of Reference (please refer to paragraph 2.0 below) include upgrading to Cognos Express Planner version 10.2, the provision of licenses (up to 100 users) and future planned enhancements and maintenance. Detailed information regarding the Terms of Reference is available in paragraph 2.0 below.

A Long Term Arrangement for Services (LTAS) will be established with the most qualified company representing the best value for money for UNICEF, for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for an additional two-year period on the same technical and commercial Terms and Conditions.

The objective of this LTA is to allow UNICEF to purchase services from the selected company as and when required on the rates offered in response to the RFPS.

The principles of a LTAS are as follows:

  1. UNICEF will not be obligated to order any minimum quantity of Services from the LTAS holder;
  2. UNICEF shall not be liable for any cost in the event that no purchase of Services is made under this LTAS;
  3. This Arrangement is non-exclusive, and UNICEF will be entitled to procure the same or similar Services from other Contractors, as it sees fit.

Performance under the resulting LTAS will be reviewed after completion of each service delivery as well as after each twelve month period, and the contract will contain an opt-out clause whereby the contract will be terminated if UNICEF is not satisfied with the performance of the company.

Should your company be qualified and interested in this bidding opportunity, please register in the UNICEF-PFP e-tendering system to access the complete RFP package - please follow the registration procedure attached to this notification.
