Description
In order to secure the highest degree of cleanliness and hygiene of offices, common, and other spaces used by the UN staff in carrying out their daily tasks, United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) seeks expression of interest from suitably qualified companies for the provision of Cleaning, Refuse Collection, Sanitary Bins Services and Pest Control Service to UN Campus in Gigiri, Nairobi The requirement for services will include the following: • Provision of Cleaning Services • Refuse Collection • Sanitary Bins Services • Pest Control Management The Service will include buildings, constructive elements, furniture as well as outdoor premises. Provided this, the Vendor will be responsible for providing the workforce necessary to undertake the aforementioned services including all materials, consumables and equipment necessary to perform the services, as well as their placement/transportation to the site. As its core business, the Bidder must have at least one of the following: • Cleaning Services, • Fumigation Services, Pest and Rodent Control Services, • Waste Disposal Services. For those services that are not part of its core business, the Bidder shall provide relevant proof of subcontracting to appropriately qualified subcontractors with the required skills and experience to meet the UNON specified requirements. The Bidder must (or where applicable, must demonstrate that its subcontractor/s) have a minimum of 3 years work experience for each of the core business services listed above. The Bidder should have local representation; the office should be located in Nairobi The contract shall be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for additional two years.
