Provision of upgrading electrical system for provision of hydropower energy in MONUSCO Ndoromo Camp in Bunia, DRC

1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest EOI) from duly registered companies for the Provision of upgrading electrical system for provision of hydropower energy in MONUSCO Ndoromo Camp in Bunia, DR Congo. 2. The required services: - Supply, transport, install, test & commision MV packaged Unit substations of 630 kVA/33/0.4 kV 50Hz transformer + equipment+protective device and complete accessories. Authorized kWh meters installed and commissioned including all necessary installation and connection accessories and outdoor 33kV isolator load break switch for derivations of line to the new station. - Supply, transport, survey, design & install of new 33 kV Medium Voltage underground line, 3x70mm2 + material + trenches + equipment. - Supply, transport, install 1 outdoor 33 kV Isolator load break switch for derivations of line to the new substation - Supply and install for Overhead 33kV line steel poles, 12 m high, including cross arms, 33kV insulators and all other necessary accessories from existing MV line to entrance of new substation - Supply and install for 3 feeders MV Overhead conductor, ACSR 35 mm2 including all the necessary lamps & connecting accessories, including ground guard conductor - Supply, transport and install grounding system for the whole packaged substation including connecting clamps as well as earth rod as appropriate - Supply, transport, install, test & commision Power stabilizer 1000kVA 180/240V 340/400V 3. MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a Request for proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their abilitity to fulfill MONUSCO requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UN Vendor registration at level 2 on tWe vendor database accessible on www.ungm.org (new vendors only). A detailed Scope of work (SOR) will be provided to companies short listed for receipt of the (RFP) documents. 4. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience.Interested vendors must provide the following document(s) with their response. - Copy of the registration certificate/license (s) of the company. 5. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of proposals. 6. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of peformance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the (RFP) documents MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI's received after the deadline indicated below. 7.
