The vendor will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, reliability, and scalability of the Proxmox systems. The goal is to enhance the UN’s virtual infrastructure by providing expert support and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The requirements include: Proxmox Setup and Configuration: Assist with the setup, deployment, and customization of Proxmox to meet the UN's specific infrastructure needs. Software Repository Access: Provide access to Proxmox’s enterprise software repositories and ensure timely software and security updates. Incident Support: Troubleshoot and resolve Proxmox-related issues, including virtual machine failures and network/storage problems. Provide escalation procedures for critical issues and offer support via phone, email, remote desktop, and the internet. Security and Compliance Support: Ensure Proxmox installations are secure and in compliance with industry security standards. Advise on best practices for security and assist with audit and compliance requirements. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training (fundamental and advanced) for UN IT staff on Proxmox administration and troubleshooting. Deliver courses by certified Proxmox instructors and help create comprehensive documentation. Subscription-Based Support Services: Offer subscription plans (Premium, Standard, Basic, and Community) to provide updates, patches, and technical support through the Proxmox Enterprise Repository. Backup and Security Solutions: Provide Proxmox Backup Server for reliable data storage and Proxmox Mail Gateway for enhanced security. Global 24/7 Support Coverage: Offer continuous support for all time zones, including hardship regions like Somalia, Sudan, and Iraq. Consulting and Expert Services: Provide consulting on infrastructure planning, PoC development, and Proxmox optimization to ensure systems remain secure and efficient.
