Provision of Specialized Cleaning Services for the Data Centers in UNICTF Valencia and UNGSC Brindisi

The UNGSC requires a Contractor for the Provision of Specialized Cleaning Services for the Data Centers in UNICTF Valencia and UNGSC Brindisi. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified vendor to establish a Long-term Contract for the Provision of Provision of Specialized Cleaning Services for the Data Centers to be carried out annually in UNICTF Valencia and UNGSC Brindisi, including emergency cleaning services that may be required on exceptional basis. The Contract will have an initial duration of three (3) years, with the option to be extended for additional two (2) periods of one (1) year each, up to a maximum contract period of five (5) years. The primary goal is to maintain a clean, contaminant-free environment that complies with ISO 14644-1 Class 8 or their equivalent, ensuring equipment reliability, preventing operational disruptions, and minimizing financial losses. Moreover, these specialized services will guarantee that sensitive IT areas remain intact of harmful particulates and conditions that could lead to unforeseen downtime. GENERAL NOTES: Specific Requirements: The ITB will provide detailed information, including the Scope of Work, Technical Evaluation Criteria, and other requirements, however, Vendors expressing interest should possess the following qualifications: - Proven expertise in Tier 3 data center cleaning services in compliance with ISO 14644-1, ANSI/TIA-942, and ESD regulations or their equivalent standards. - Qualified personnel, trained and certified to work in Tier data center environments. Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. - Familiarity with international standards and, preferably, United Nations procurement processes. UN Vendor Registration Requirement (i.e., vendor level of registration): The Bidder must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at the Basic level in order to be invited to the ITB at a later stage. Vendors not registered with UNGM will not be eligible to participate in the ITB. In order to be eligible for the award, the Vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the required Level of Registration, which is "Level 1" before the award of the Contract. Applicable Legal Requirements: The Company(ies) will provide the services in Brindisi (Italy) and/or Valencia (Spain); therefore, the Company must comply with Italian and/or Spanish labor laws and regulations applicable to the specified trade. Non-EU companies participating in the tender for UNGSC requirements with service delivery to Brindisi (Italy) and/or Valencia (Spain) shall be duly registered and possess all the requisite documentation, certificates, and permits as required to do business in the European Union member countries.
