Provision of professional assessment of the current state of Radio Okapi to MONUSCO, DRC

1. The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from international non-governmental organizations, specializing in post-conflict radio stations in Africa, that can implement some key tasks. While the contractor will build on previous work, they will be expected to provide a professional assessment of the current state of Radio Okapi, the relevance of its content in comparison to its competitors and how the radio should evolve to meet the needs of its listeners. 2. Objectives: • Professional assessment of the current state of Radio Okapi and its value adds compared to competitors • Determine the content, both current and possibly new that will enable the Radio to maintain and eventually increase its listeners • Based on the above assessments determine the staffing and structure for a future Radio Okapi. 3.Timeline: This will be a four (04) months contract. 4.Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid. 5.MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the Invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. Submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the documents; MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI’s received after the deadline indicated below.
