Description
UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for the provision of Communication ideation, creative development, and implementation of communication campaigns on a Long-Term Arrangement basis of two years.
BRIEF BACKGROUND
Title: Contracting for marketing communication agency for ideation, creative development, and implementation of communication campaigns
Purpose: Provision of marketing communication services on Long Term Agreement basis
Location: Zambia
Duration: Two years with the possibility of extension of another one year based on satisfactory performance and market situation
UNICEF, in accordance with its Charter and Mission Statement, works with governments, civil society organizations and other partners in more than one hundred and ninety countries to advance children’s rights to survival, protection, development and participation, and in doing so is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In its work to support the Government of Zambia and partners, UNICEF Zambia, through its Communications, Advocacy, Partnerships and Engagement (CAPE) Section, regularly develops communication, advocacy and visibility products and campaigns to build awareness around key children’s issues, advocate for the adoption or change of policies, and to document UNICEF-supported interventions, among other objectives.
The products and campaigns developed to meet these objectives are disseminated through the channels of digital, print and broadcast media, utilizing various tools, including social media and website content, out-of-home and other print products, radio and television spots and programmes, among others.
Therefore, to support our advocacy efforts and achieve better results for children while meeting the ongoing requirement by programme sections for high quality communications products and campaigns, UNICEF requires the services of reputable marketing communications agencies which are expected to deliver creative, out-of-the-box, end-to-end communications solutions.
