Construction of an Office Building in UNOCA, Compound in Kabul, Afghanistan

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest to participate in upcoming bidding exercise for the "Construction of an office block at UNOCA Compound in Kabul, Afghanistan". All works shall be in accordance with statement of works, approved plans, specifications of work, conditions of contract and other related documents indicated in the bidding documents. EXTENT OF WORK: Construction of new office building 2 storey plus basement at UNOCA Compound in Kabul, Afghanistan. The new office building will be constructed in a plot of land of approximately area 2,400 sqm, gross area for office building is appx. 5,400 sqm over 2 floors plus basement accommodating 256 potential staff personnel. A rectangular footprint with a central courtyard with green areas and a fountain, work includes all civil, electrical, mechanical including elevators, centralised air conditioning and building security installation works. The works in this Contract shall include but not limited to the furnishing of all necessary tools, materials, equipment, skilled/unskilled manpower, transportation, machineries, accessories, and supervisors to carry out all work as outlined in the Bill of Quantity, drawings and other accompanying documents unless otherwise stated. Contractor will be responsible to complete the project in totality, commission all its services and hand over the building in ready to use condition. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: This REOI will be used to pre-screen potential bidders. The solicitation documents will be issued after the REOI closing date ONLY to those potential bidders who will have submitted documents that clearly and indisputably confirm / proves compliance with the 3 below listed specific pre-screening requirements.
