Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of editing and graphic design services for publications and their derivative products for UNEP. Some of the expected outputs are: 1. Graphic Design Services • Publication & Layout Design: Conceptualizing and creating layout designs with elements like infographics and photography, adhering to UNEP brand standards. • Presentation Design: Developing visually compelling presentation decks and templates to communicate key messages. • General Graphic Design: Creating custom graphics, infographics, and digital assets (e.g., newsletters) for various publications. • Illustration: Producing illustrations tailored to publication topics, such as reports or educational materials. • Data Visualization: Developing interactive charts, dashboards, and data-driven graphics to simplify complex information. 2. Editing Services • Substantive Editing: Planning and refining the structure, clarity, and flow of documents from the concept stage through to the final draft. • Copy Editing: Ensuring grammatical accuracy, consistency, and readability, following UNEP guidelines. • Proofreading: Reviewing final designs to verify accuracy in layout, references, pagination, and content alignment. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. The contract resulting from the consecutive solicitation exercise which will be launched following closure of this REOI, is anticipated to be awarded for 5 years (initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for additional 2 years). All interested companies must respond to the questions listed in the following section. EOI submitted without responding to the questions below may not be consiered.
