Description

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has embarked on a significant project to address a pressing need for accommodation for officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS in Ngala Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State. This initiative was necessitated by an in-depth assessment that revealed a critical shortage of suitable living quarters for Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS officers stationed in the area. Considering the unique challenges faced by the NIS officers in Ngala LGA, the construction of new quarters has become an essential step towards improving security operations, ensuring the well-being of the officers, and bolstering the overall development of the region. UNDP with the Government plan to construct quarters in for the NIS officers.

This project covers the construction of External Works around the NIC buildings which will be constructed very soon at Ngala L.G.A of Borno State, Including the provision and installation of 30 Solar Streetlights in the NIC premises as outlined in the drawings and Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
