Design, supply, installation, configuration,customization, trainining in maintenance and calibration of meteorological instruments for Rwanda Meteorology Agency support proejct

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia hereby seeks to  invite qualified  and competent vendors for the design, supply, installation,configuration, customization, training in maintenance and calibration of meteorological instruments for Rwanda Meterorology Agency support project.

Vendors who express their interest will be invited to participate in a tender through a  “Request for Proposal” (RFP).  This tender will envisage the selection of a single firm to supply any brand of the following meteorological instruments and equipments aligned with WMO standards with the described specifications that are detailed in the RFP  for Automatic Weather Station; Upper Air radiosounding System; and Hydrogen Generator.

UNECA is precluded from entering into a contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNECA and  United Nations Global MarketPlace (UNGM).  Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered, as vendors with UNECA, are encouraged to register.  The registration Form and “Vendor Response Form” could be downloaded from www.uneca.org/procurement or similar documents could also be collected from the UNECA, Supply Chain Management Section, 2nd floor.  In order to be eligible for the UN Registration, please make sure to declare in writing the Prerequisite for Eligibility criteria itemized from A-E as contained in the attached EOI instruction.
