Request for expression of interest for supply of forensic laboratory and scientific equipment

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified vendors to submit their expression of interest (EoI) for the provision of forensic science equipment for use in forensic laboratory located in Pemba, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The overall usage will comprise forensic analysis of latent fingerprints, toxicology, trace evidence analysis and treatment, questioned documents, Microscopy and ballistiscs: 1- Fuming Hood to allow treatment of chemical traces in a forensic laboratory; 2- Cyanoacrylate Fuming Chamber (CNA) to allow the development of fingerprint using Cyanoacrylate (superglue) for use in forensic laboratories, including workstations, accessories and consumables. 3- Bullet comparison macroscope to analyze the matching of the microscopic impressions found on the surface of bullets and casings in forensic laboratories. 4- Bullet catcher collection chamber, including two replacement ballistic fiber (long chamber). 5- Stereo microscope with camera stereo and coupled monitor. 6- Video Spectral Comparator (VSC). 7- Swab drying cabinet. 8-Small Refrigerators/freezers for transporting forensic traces. 9-Weighting scales for use in forensic laboratory.
