Description
The Office of Investment Management ("OIM") of the United Nations Joint Pension Fund ("UNJSPF") is seeking to establish a roster of firms with expertise in the categories of investment advisory related services listed below. The UNJSPF was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1949 to provide retirement, death, disability and related benefits for the staff of the United Nations and the other organizations admitted to membership in the UNJSPF. OIM manages the investment of the assets of the UNJSPF that are currently valued at approximately US$91 billion. The assets of the UNJSPF are primarily managed internally and are invested in approximately 38 countries globally. In this context, OIM intends to create a roster of qualified firms for the categories below to be able to provide specialize investment advice services upon request. The proposed duration of each resulting contract shall be five (5) years. CATEGORIES OF EXPERTISE • Consulting Services: Requesting advice on investment strategies, risk management, and compliance and special studies (benchmark studies, expanding investments in new markets, new asset classes, technology solutions, and others). • Ad hoc investment advisory services
