This amendment includes changes made for this tender, summarized below:
- Payment terms modified to better respond to industry standards, including advance payment of 15% of contract value. Please read carefully the highlighted sections of the Version 3- Bid Data Sheet and Version 3- Section 5- Terms of Reference- Electric alia vessel (e-Alia) for Samoa, including sea trials and end-user training.
- Performance security requirement has been added. A Performance Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total contract amount is required.
- Following requests for clarification the minimum requirement A.9: Structure listed in Form D-Appendix 1 has been clarified further. There is no requirement for a double-skin hull as used in big cargo ships, instead the double-hull structure refers to a catamaran design, i.e.
to a design that has two separated hulls with a bridge deck connecting them. There is no need for these hulls to be double-skin, they can be manufactured from a single skin of aluminium panels like the old Alia and with additional waterproof bulkheads and reserve buoyancy.
