UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for Rehabilitation of 5 sites in Volyn Oblast LRPS-2024-9192245 UNICEF is rapidly rolling out response plan to affected population by the war in Ukraine by supporting Hromadas in rehabilitation of shelters hospitals, rehabilitation of premises for establishment of the Resilience Centers. Rehabilitation of the shelters will enhance the conditions for the children in health facilities. This will facilitate the children access to safe and inclusive environment. In the simple shelters planned the installation of toilets, ventilation system and minor finishing works to ensure proper lighting and suitability to accommodate children in case of emergency. UNICEF is supporting Hromadas in strengthening social services for children and families with children. Along with capacity building and technical support, improving existing infrastructure is key to enabling quality service delivery. In social services, especially from the minimum package of integrated social services and benefits, will be provided. The renovation of this sites will play a critical role in implementing in Hromadas Better Care Reform Vision, especially in keeping families together, supporting children to be cared for in safe and nurturing families and preventing unnecessary separation. The target of this project is to rehabilitate 5 sites in Volyn Oblast This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.
